Harman Corporation Introduces Grab Tabs

Rochester, MI - September 26, 2001 - Harman Corporation of Rochester, Michigan, has added plastic grab tabs to its comprehensive line of dip-molded plastic tabs for industrial applications.

The new Harman grab tab is designed with additional surface area that provides more “grab and pull” strength for the user. The ergonomic finder tab version provides user comfort plus strength, making the tab ideal for continuous removal and installation processes.

Harman’s new plastic grab tabs make tab removal easy and are an excellent time-saver for thread protectors, masks during painting, shipping caps, dust caps, and other applications that protect parts from unwanted substances.

The grab tabs are available in high-temperature (up to 450 degrees F) PVC material for applications such as paint masks in powder coating. The grab tabs are available in diameters ranging from .215 inch to 1-1/4 inches and lengths ranging from 1/4 inch to 2 inches. Lengths can be adjust in 1/16 inch increments.

Grab tabs join a Harman product line that also includes dip molded plastic caps, plastic grips, plastic pull-tabs, and plastic plugs, as well as a complete line of masking supplies.
