Different from dip molding, custom injection molding injects the plastic into a detailed mold that is the exact shape of the product. Injection molding has tight tolerances and has great control of outside features. Custom injection molding starts with warmed plastic at the right temperature for injection. It is then inserted at controlled speeds and high pressures. After injection, the mold is then cooled which allows the plastic cap, plastic plug, or plastic grip to harden. This custom injection molding process creates very consistent and universal products.
