Harman Corporation manufactures high temperature paint masks that can be used during a number of finishing operations. They are usually produced in the form of tape and disks that are about 2 mils thick and are made out two materials: polyester and kapton. Polyester masking tapeand polyester masking discs can withstand temperatures up to 425 degrees whereas kapton masking tape and kapton masking discs can withstand up to 500 degrees.
In addition to tape and disks, Harman Corporation makes plastic caps, plastic plugs, tapered stoppers, and tubing which can be used to mask off threaded studs, holes, and surfaces around these areas for grounding. Most of the paint masks are versatile enough to be used in many different ways such as blocking both holes and extrusions. When using paint masks manufactured by Harman Corporation, you can trust that your finishing process will be flawlessly completed.
